FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How should I care for my candle to ensure the best burn?
For the first burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the vessel—this typically takes 2–3 hours. This prevents 'tunnelling' and ensures an even burn throughout the candle's life. Always trim your wick to 5mm before relighting to ensure a clean, soot-free burn.
Are your candles safe to use at home?
Absolutely. We take great pride in using only natural soy and beeswax. Our candles are free from harmful chemicals, parabens, and phthalates, ensuring a clean and safe burn in your home.
What can I do with my Jesmonite vessel once the candle has finished?
This is one of our favourite features! Jesmonite is incredibly durable and stylish. Simply wash out any remaining wax with warm, soapy water, and your vessel is ready to be repurposed as a chic planter for succulents, a vanity organiser, or a holder for your stationery.
Do you offer personalisation?
Yes, we do. We are pleased to offer bespoke engraving on selected candle containers, making each piece a truly unique gift. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss a personalised commission.
Where are your products made?
Every piece is proudly hand-poured and crafted in our studio in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. We are committed to supporting local craftsmanship and ensuring every detail is perfect.
How soon will I receive my order?
As many of our items are handcrafted to order, please allow 2–4 working days for your order to be prepared for dispatch. Once your parcel is on its way, you will receive an email with tracking details so you can follow its journey.
